What is Charterhouse Printing Services doing for the Environment?
We currently have many different programs and procedures in place to be Environmentally Friendly.
- We only use Vegetable Based Inks
- All paper and cardboard products are recycled
- Surplus Pallets/Skids are given to Voyageur for them to re-use
- Ink cartridges are recycled
- Press Plates are recycled
- Indigo Ink cartridge cans are recycled
- We will use Recycled stock when the customer requests. There is a vast range of stocks available with a minimal recycled content to 100% Recycled content and varying Post Consumer Contents.
Charterhouse Printing Services also recently received FSC Certification. This is a global wide initiative that established a chain of custody system that connects responsible forest management practices and products with consumers. Through FSC chain of custody, companies can demonstrate their commitment to environmentally and socially responsible forest management and label their products with the FSC trademarks.
