Bleed
A bleed is an extension of your background color or image going beyond the intended trim size of your piece. This ensures that the color or image continues to the edge of your piece.
Please build your files with 0 .125” bleed on all sides for regular trims.
Please build your files with at least 0.25” bleed all around for die-cut jobs.
Safety Border
It is recommended that you leave at least 0.125” from all surrounding edges of your printed piece for all critical elements (text, images, logos, etc.).
Anything left too close to the edge may be cut off during trimming.
